about us …..

Established in 2023 we are a Not For Profit membership organisation working together to build a creative future for our community. It is our vision to create a vibrant hub in the heart of our town – a creative place which celebrates the rich culture, heritage, creativity and community spirit of our region . Housing an Art Gallery, Museum, Theatre, Retail Shop, creative spaces, and Keeping Place Museum, it will preserve and share the stories and traditions that shape our identity.

This partnership with the Gulngay people, the Traditional Owners of the Tully Region has a vital role in supporting recognition, reconciliation, and truth-telling for all. The importance of historical and cultural heritage through creativity, sharing and preservation is core to our business.

This development will deliver wide-ranging cultural, educational, economic, and social benefits, enriching the lives of people in Tully and across the Cassowary Coast. More than just a building, the Precinct will strengthen liveability and well-being, while celebrating the unique spirit of our region. More than a venue, the precinct will be a catalyst for growth—socially, culturally, and economically—empowering our community to connect, contribute, and thrive together.

We will offer creative programs for younger people, for children and young adults, and to put pathways in place for our youth who want to make a career in the arts.

Together, we have an opportunity to create a space that celebrates our past, inspires our future, and belongs to everyone.
